Fun Fact

 This post will be a fun fact about Missouri...  Did you know that in Jefferson City, the current capitol building is the third one in that city?   Below is a photo of the second capitol building before it was destroyed by a lightning strike that hit its dome in 1911.


Here is an image of what was left of the building after the fire.  The entire inside of the structure was completely destroyed by the fire.


It is amazing what you can find out when you dig into your past.
